The Fastest Growing Companies of Q1 2024

The First Quarter of 2024 is officially a wrap. We, at Crustdata track companies in real time and so we decided to figure out which companies are growing the fastest, right now. 

We sorted our database by fastest QoQ growth rate and dug into the companies at the top.

Here’s what we found:

The rankings are based on Quarter over Quarter Employee Growth for companies with 25-5000 employees. The median growth turned out to be a staggering 137% with all the Top 25 companies having over 100% QoQ numbers.

However, it was an Indian GenAI startup named Krutrim that stole the show with a record 480% QoQ growth.

Based out of India’s Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, Krutrim is building a regional language based chatbot, which they claim would be the South Asian subcontinent’s answer to ChatGPT.

The company raised its first round of $50M at a $1B valuation, instantly becoming a unicorn with its very first fundraise. Could we be seeing a return to the valuations of 2020 and 2021?

Coming back to the US, Radiology Partners tops the chart having raised a huge $720M growth equity round from existing and new investors.

Based out of California, Radiology Partners is a healthcare service company providing radiology services.

We live track job openings which gives a good indication of future headcount and general growth.

Insurance marketplace company HealthMarkets is on a mass hiring spree, primarily looking for Insurance Agents across multiple locations.

HealthMarkets is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the US, distributing health, life and supplemental insurance products from insurance providers to individuals and families.

Coinbase is continuing to ride the crypto turnaround and rise and is hiring for over 100 positions. 

Q1 2024 was a good one to start the year with – companies clocked stellar growth and investors didn’t shy away from writing big checks after the long standing funding freeze.

But the real question is whether this picture will remain the same or if volatility will return over the next few quarters.
